Benzodiazepines are a class of treatments frequently prescribed for the management of stress. Common benzodiazepines include Tavor, Valium, Rivotril, and Ativan. Each of these treatments functions on the central nervous system to increase the effects of a neurotransmitter called GABA. This produces in a calming effect, decreasing feelings of appreh
